Design-forward platforms like Showit are perfect for storytelling—but fall short when it comes to selling.

You're proud of your site. It's stunning, custom, and uniquely you, thanks to Showit. But when it’s time to sell products or book services, you’re stuck with clunky integrations or forced to move your whole site to Shopify.

That’s where most people compromise. Either the branding suffers or the shop does. We don’t believe you should have to choose.
Your site can stay beautiful—and start working harder. Let’s create a shopping experience that feels just as intentional as the rest of your brand.

  • Keep the creative freedom you love

Showit gives you total control over your design—fonts, layout, imagery, movement. You’ve crafted a site that feels beautifully branded and completely “you.” Recreating that same level of custom layout on Shopify would be far more expensive, since every detail has to be hand-coded instead of built with a drag-and-drop editor.

  • Add powerful eCommerce features

Shopify brings everything you need to sell—products, digital downloads, payment plans, inventory, and fulfillment. It’s designed to scale and integrates with the tools you’re already using. You get a professional, secure shopping experience without needing to duct-tape workarounds into your Showit site.

  • Create one seamless experience

We build your Shopify shop to echo the look and feel of your Showit site—so the two work together as one. With custom navigation, shared branding, and intentional linking, your visitors won’t notice they’ve switched platforms—they’ll just see a smooth, on-brand experience from start to finish.

How it Works

01.
Your main site lives on Showit: home page, about page etc.
Showit stays your main hub for storytelling and showcasing your brand’s visual identity—AKA no need to rebuild your entire site.
02.
We custom-code your Shopify header and footer to visually match your Showit site.
Your Shopify storefront will echo the look and feel of your Showit site, with carefully matched fonts, colors, and layout elements.
03.
We build out your shop (product and collection pages) on Shopify.
It’s like giving your Showit site a powerful Shopify engine—bringing all the eCommerce functionality you need, without changing the look you love.
04.
We link the two sites together so they function as one cohesive user journey.
End Result: Your brand stays intact, your store runs smoothly, and your customer experience feels like one unified brand—even across two platforms.

Hey, Showit Designers—

Let's Collaborate

Are you a designer working on Showit builds where the client eventually wants to sell products or digital offers? Instead of saying sayonara and sending them off to a Shopify dev (or trying to figure it out yourself), let’s team up. I’ll handle the Shopify side—custom-coded to match your design's branding exactly.

FAQs

Is this setup just a workaround—or is it a long-term solution?

It’s a very stable, scalable solution. Some of our past clients do multi-million years on this setup. As your product catalog grows or your business evolves, Shopify can expand with you—without forcing you to give up your custom Showit site.

Why not just move the whole site to Shopify?

This is totally an option too—we offer custom Shopify design + dev projects—but a few scenarios would warrant this type of hybrid setup: 1. you have an existing Showit site and want to expand to Shopify without re-doing your entire site, or 2. you want a SUPER custom feel for your site which can typically be achieved cheaper + easier on Showit compared to Shopify (drag and drop vs. custom-coded interface)

Can I update my Shopify store on my own later?

Definitely. Once the build is done, we'll walk you through how to manage products, add new listings, and make minor edits—no coding required. Ongoing support is also available if you ever need it.

Will the customer know they’re switching between two sites?

Most won’t notice. The navigation, branding, and overall design will feel consistent between platforms. We match fonts, colors, and layout as closely as possible, and set up intuitive links so the journey feels seamless.

Can I sell digital products or services, not just physical items?

Yes! Shopify works beautifully for digital downloads, coaching packages, booking-based offers, and more. We can tailor the setup based on what you're selling.

How do payments and checkout work?

All payments go through Shopify’s secure checkout system. That means you get access to multiple payment gateways (like PayPal, credit cards, Shop Pay), abandoned cart recovery, and fraud protection—no extra plugins required.

Will my customers have to log in twice or have two carts?

Nope—all purchasing happens on Shopify. Your Showit site serves as your marketing/home base, but once someone clicks into your shop, everything cart-and checkout-related happens in one place, just like any standard eCommerce experience.

Can I use Shopify’s blog or other pages instead of Showit?

You could, but with this setup it's usually best to keep content (like blogs and landing pages) on Showit, where you have full visual control. Shopify is there to power the store side—product, collection, cart, and checkout pages.

Will this setup slow my site down?

Not at all. Showit and Shopify are hosted separately and optimized for speed. As long as we keep images and design assets streamlined, your load times will stay fast and user-friendly.

I’m a designer—can I white-label your work for my clients?

Absolutely. We offer both white-label and referral partnerships. Whether you want to stay fully involved or hand off the Shopify side entirely, I can adapt to your workflow.
